Lesson 11 - Smoking

Sherlock is an addicted to ciggaretes, John tries to avoid Sherlock from smoking, but he just can't.
Sherlock wasn't an addicted until Mycroft gave him a ciggarete for Christmas "A Scandal in Belgravia".
Until Sherlock became an addicted, he just took nicotine patches (three at a time) "A Study in Pink".
Sherlock is not exacly a smoker in "Hound of the Baskervilles", he is a second hand smoker.

Lesson 10 - Family

Sherlock's family is based on Mycroft because his parents are only mentioned in "A Study in Pink".
Sherlock and Mycroft are quite different but considering they are brothers, there is one thing that makes them unmastakable brothers: they never agree with each other.
I wonder how Sherlock was as kid and how he acted with his parents.
I wonder if his father smoke.
I imagine Mycroft and Sherlock arguing and annoying their parents to death.

Lesson 9 - Violin

Sherlock is terrible when it comes to playing  the violin, but let's admit it, there some of us don't even know how to play the violin. Sherlock does, he just doesn't play it very well.
Here are the steps to play the violin like Sherlock does:

1# Play terribly even if you can play it properly.
2# Only play it beautifly at Christmas time.
3# Never tune it correctly.
4# Don't tune it at all.
5# Don't let someone tune your violine for you.
6# Play it terribly if you desperately want someone to leave your house.
7# Compose beautifly.

And these are the steps to play the violine like Sherlock does.

Lesson 8 - Drugs

In Arthur Conan Doyle's books we know that Sherlock Holmes smokes a pipe and that he injects drugs on himself with a syringe. But in "Sherlock", instead of smoking, he takes nicotine patches: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLuLTOwn3N8
I recently read the case "A Scandal in Bohemia" ("A Scandal in Belgravia") and I read the following: "...between cocaine and ambition...".
But one of the things that makes Sherlock unique is the fact that he takes drugs.
No other detective would take drugs! Poirot didn't, Miss Marple didn't, none of them did!
But if Sherlock died from a lung cancer, I would blame Mycroft because he gave Sherlock a cigarette for Christmas ("A Scandal in Belgravia") and that made him an addicted to smoking as we can see in ("The Hound of the Baskervilles").
And... Just for your safety, I won't give you steps to take drugs like Sherlock, just this once...

Lesson 7 - Human Organs Collection

Sherlock can disgust people quite easily, he just puts a head in the fridge or puts a lot of thumbs in a plastic bag inside the fridge:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OM63tgRGCDo
Well, if we agreed about Sherlock being a psychopath, we would probably find a corpse in the fridge...

Sad News

You may not know but I think that the Sherlock BBC series have finished. You see, the "The Reichinball Fall" was the last book Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote.
Technically it was penultimate but the next was "The Hound of the Baskervilles" and that one came earlier in the adventures.

How to live like Mrs. Hudson

Mrs. Hudson watches telly, specially makeover shows ("The Great Game"). She also likes tea, everytime someone goes to her flat, she asks: "Would you like a nice cup of tea?"
She is Sherlock's landlady and she hates when Sherlock damages the flat (specially walls).
She considers John a friend and a polite person, however, he can sometimes lose control of himself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jiVwQHxm6g
